People Recognition for Entering and Leaving a Video Surveillance Area
نویسندگان
چکیده
The authors proposed a people recognition method for moving people of entering and leaving a video surveillance area employing the spatial-based feature of single-pedestrian image in conjunction with color vector. The spatial-based features are employed for its different location from variant parts of the human body. A histogram-based framework is used to describe the color vector of variant parts of the moving people. This method is able to track and identify the moving people successfully in different outdoor environment based on variance of samples. A series of experimental results illustrate that this method can track and identify automatically while the moving people enter or leave a video surveillance area. متن کاملPeople Counting in Transport Vehicles
Counting people from a video stream in a noisy environment is a challenging task. This project aims at developing a counting system for transport vehicles, integrated in a video surveillance product. This article presents a method for the detection and tracking of multiple faces in a video by using a model of first and second order local moments. An iterative process is used to estimate the pos...
متن کاملAction Change Detection in Video Based on HOG
Background and Objectives: Action recognition, as the processes of labeling an unknown action of a query video, is a challenging problem, due to the event complexity, variations in imaging conditions, and intra- and inter-individual action-variability. A number of solutions proposed to solve action recognition problem. Many of these frameworks suppose that each video sequence includes only one ...
متن کاملUsing Color Histograms to Recognize People in Real Time Visual Surveillance
This paper presents a surveillance system that detects and recognizes people in indoor scenes. To distinguish between different people, color histograms on a perceptually uniform color space are used. The goal here is to associate a sequence showing a person leaving a room with the previously recorded sequence showing that same person entering.
متن کاملVideo Event Recognition by Dempster-Shafer Theory
This paper presents an event recognition framework, based on Dempster-Shafer theory, that combines evidence of events from low-level computer vision analytics. The proposed method employing evidential network modelling of composite events, is able to represent uncertainty of event output from low level video analysis and infer high-level events with semantic meaning along with degrees of belief...
